My husband and I are German Shepherd afficiandos of many years. They are, in our opinion, the noblest of canines. It has only been in the past several years, after my children became adults and moved on with their own lives, that we felt we had the time and resources to devote to our passion: German Shepherd Dogs.
With the help of my mentor and close friend, who is also a German Shepherd breeder and behaviorist, we began our quest in learning the theories and practices associated with successfully breeding and raising the German Shepherd Dog.
Von Redwood's breeding practice is based on our belief in the Total Dog; balance with emphasis on temperament, health and structure. Our breeding females and stud dogs are carefully selected utilizing criteria to assist us in keeping our goals true. Our program is small, insuring each dam and puppy receives the attention they deserve. We breed only one to two litters per year.
